About Us

I am an honor graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology, State University of New York. While studying at FIT, I designed my first couture bridal gown and fell in love; thus, the concept of Jocelyn Coles New York was born. After working for famous designers in New York City, my mentor advised me to move home to Virginia to start my own design company. I established Jocelyn Coles New York by bootstrapping and designing my first couture bridal collection in my parent's basement. Today, JCNY is a flagship bridal boutique and atelier located on Main Street in Gretna, Virginia.

 Reminiscent of the Old-Word Dressmakers of France, Jocelyn Coles wedding gowns are handcrafted using traditional couture techniques (historically for royals) and made with love in the USA. From start to finish, every wedding dress is customizable and handmade to order. Brides will meet with the designer herself to choose the perfect silhouette, textiles, and finishes. The real couture design possibilities are endless.
